Rooster X

Description: I painted this rooster once before many years ago. When I was asked to make a donation to the Middleburg Montesorri School for their annual benefit, Art of the Piedmont, it came to mind as an ideal composition. It was fun to revisit this rooster's thoughts and intentions! He is some character. I don't always jump into repainting a work that was so successful the first time but I was more than pleased with this one. It was actually painted a third time for a nice couple that had to leave the auction early.
